Bosnia & Herzegovina Professionals Meetup in Ljubljana
On April 24th, Ljubljana hosted the Bosnia & Herzegovina Professionals Meetup, a key gathering within the Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation (BHFF) program. The event brought together members of the BHFF community, along with professionals and members of the diaspora, creating a space for meaningful dialogue, connection, and exchange.
Opening and Welcome
The meetup was officially opened by Azra Kerić, the initiator and host of the event, who welcomed attendees and set the tone for the evening.
Sponsors and Partner Presentations
Following the opening, sponsors and partners had the opportunity to present their work. Representing Edge Case Solutions, Mirjana Tanović introduced the audience to the company’s latest product.
Alongside them, TOPCODE d.o.o. joined as a sponsor, while BeLife Drinks – Your partner in healthy drinks participated as an event partner. Mirza Ljubijankić, representing BeLife, addressed the audience and presented their product line.
Scholar and Alumni Voices
A special part of the evening was dedicated to BHFF Scholars. Demir Halilbašić, Senior Scholar, and Eldar Sarajlić, Junior Scholar, shared reflections on their experiences, while Tarik Čolić, Senior Scholar, also attended the meetup and contributed to the exchange.
They were joined by Enisa Lišnjić Spahić, BHFF Alumna, adding an additional layer of connection between past and present Scholars.
“Ljubljana gave me a clearer perspective on how broad my future field really is, and the meetup created a space for meaningful connections and exchange,” said Demir Halilbašić.
“What stood out most was the openness of conversations and the strength of our community beyond borders,” added Eldar Sarajlić.
Address from the BHFF Board
On behalf of BHFF, Nihad Ferhatović, Chair of the Board of Bosnia and Herzegovina Futures Foundation, addressed the audience and spoke about the Foundation’s role in empowering young people and the importance of gatherings like this.

Following the formal program, the evening transitioned into a relaxed networking space, where conversations continued in an open and welcoming atmosphere.
