Futures Masterminds Team Inspires Students with Arduino Workshop at Homework HUB

On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, the Futures Masterminds team—consisting of Iman Kantić, Nejra Tunović, and Faris Omerbašić—successfully organized an engaging Arduino workshop at Homework HUB in Sarajevo. The event served as an introductory session for high school students to explore the basics of Arduino programming, as well as the core logic and concepts behind it.

The workshop received nine applications, and six students attended. Despite the smaller number, the team was very pleased with the outcome. The participating students showed genuine curiosity and enthusiasm, actively interacting with the instructor and asking thoughtful questions—something the team considered a key indicator of success.

The event included a short break during which students enjoyed snacks and had open conversations with the organizers. This informal setting allowed for a relaxed exchange of ideas, impressions, and personal aspirations. Students shared their future academic plans and took the opportunity to connect with each other and the organizers.

A special acknowledgment goes to BH Futures Foundation member Haris Mujić, who generously contributed his time and expertise to deliver a high-quality lecture that captivated the attendees and added great value to the experience.

The Futures Masterminds team expressed their satisfaction with how smoothly everything went and emphasized the importance of creating spaces where young people can engage with technology in an accessible and inspiring way. More events are planned in the future to continue supporting youth education and innovation.
