All hail: winners of the 2021 Bosnia & Herzegovina 3MT competition

With the announcement of the winners and the awarding of valuable cash prizes at an online ceremony, the 2021 (second) 3MT competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which brought together 46 undergraduate and graduate students from eminent universities from ten countries around the world. The unique competition lasted for the past three months, and its goal was to promote successful BiH researchers and students from different fields. This is the second year of the competition and this year it focused on undergraduate and master students giving them an opportunity to present their research and showcase their presentation skills. Participants were awarded based on the votes of an expert jury consisting of more than 160 eminent BiH academics and industry experts from over 30 countries world-wide. See all the judges here.

Keynote Presentation

Prof. Dragan Huterer, a professor of physics / cosmology at the University of Michigan, way our keynote speaker for 2021 and he spoke about the importance of research during the awards ceremony, emphasizing how important it is to talk about science as an imperative of human progress. The best of the best - judged by expert panel

Dalila Destanović from the University of Sarajevo took the first place and the prize of 2,000 KM in the undergraduate research category with the votes of the expert jury, while the winners in the master category with the prize fund of 1,000 KM each went to Emina Okanović from the University of Sarajevo and Vahida Velić, also from University of Sarajevo.
