Strengthening BiH–Austria Relations: Meeting with Ambassador H.E. Siniša Bencun

We had the honor of holding a highly productive meeting with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Austria, H.E. Siniša Bencun.

Joining the meeting alongside our representatives were a group of our scholars, the Foundation’s Ambassador in Austria Dr. Amra Ibrić, as well as the President of Business Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lejla Tinjić Zaimović. We had the opportunity to present the Foundation’s vision and achievements to the Ambassador, and we are pleased to share that he was truly impressed by the results accomplished so far and the dedication of our team.

The discussion touched upon a wide range of topics, including the activities of the Embassy in Austria, economic cooperation, education, and joint initiatives that could further strengthen ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria. We are especially grateful to Ambassador Bencun for taking the time to meet with us, as well as for joining our meetup in Vienna later that same day, where he stayed for almost the entire program and attentively followed the discussions.

For more than six years, the BH Futures Foundation has been actively connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina with Austria through a strong network of professionals living and working there. Our efforts include organizing expert visits, educational programs, supporting bachelor’s and master’s students, and creating bridges between BiH’s top talent and Austrian companies. In doing so, we foster concrete opportunities for collaboration, professional growth, and community development.

We sincerely thank Ambassador Bencun for his support and look forward to future initiatives that will continue to strengthen the bridge between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria.
