Igniting Innovation: Hands-On Tech Workshops at GMS Tuzla
Last week at GMS Tuzla, the spirit of innovation was alive and thriving as students took part in two engaging workshops designed to fuel creativity, build skills, and inspire the next generation of tech leaders.
Exploring the World of Arduino
The Arduino Workshop, led by Haris Mujić and Almedin Mešić, offered participants a dynamic introduction to the world of microcontrollers and electronics. Students dove into the basics of Arduino coding and quickly transitioned into hands-on experience, connecting components and watching their code come to life in real time. This practical, interactive session gave attendees the chance to grasp how software and hardware come together to power everyday tech—sparking both excitement and curiosity.
Bringing Ideas to Life with 3D Modeling
Simultaneously, the 3D Modeling Workshop—facilitated by Amer Pasanbegović, Jasmin Oruč, and Ahmed Spahić—introduced students to the foundational concepts of 3D design. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the tools and techniques used in modeling and even witnessed 3D printing in action, seeing their digital designs transform into tangible prototypes. The session highlighted the practical applications of 3D technology in everything from engineering to art.
A Celebration of Curiosity and Creativity
The success of these workshops lies not only in the knowledge shared but in the enthusiasm of the participants. We were thrilled to see so many young, curious minds fully engaged—eager to ask questions, test ideas, and collaborate with peers. These events are more than just educational; they’re stepping stones to future innovation.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated mentors, whose guidance made these workshops both insightful and inspiring. We’re excited to continue creating opportunities like this—where passion meets practice, and learning becomes an adventure.
