Executive Summary Report: February

Kicking Off 2025 with Vision and Passion:
In February, we held our first Executive Leadership Team meeting of 2025, setting the stage for what promises to be the most impactful year yet for BH Futures Foundation. As we proudly celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re more committed than ever to empowering youth, strengthening our community, and driving innovation across Bosnia & Herzegovina. 

Community Engagement:
Continuing to connect with our community all over the world with BHFF Professional meetups is incredibly important for all of those who join in, read more about our recent meetups in the US, and upcoming ones Europe. 

Biotech Forum 2025:
The Biotech Forum 2025 was a passion project initiated by one of our junior scholar teams. It brought together students, experts, and enthusiasts from various scientific fields, fostering meaningful discussions on the future of biotechnology. Witnessing our scholars take ownership of such a significant event reminded me why we do what we do — to empower young people to lead, innovate, and shape the future. 

BHFF at Sarajevo City Hall:
Nihad Ferhatović, a member of our Board of Directors, and our BHFF alumni, delivered a truly inspiring speech at the Sarajevo City Hall on the occasion of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day. During the ceremony, Nihad delivered a truly inspirational speech. His words were filled with passion and thoughtfulness, touching upon themes of collective knowledge, unity, and progress. As we celebrate a decade of impact, we are more committed than ever to empowering youth and fostering leadership in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we aim to create a brighter future for the next generation.
