Connecting in Paris: BH Professionals Meetup
This past Friday marked a significant milestone as we held the first professional networking event for Bosnian and Herzegovinian professionals in Paris. Organized by the Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation (BHFF) and 5 Million Friends of Bosnia & Herzegovina (5mill), the event drew an impressive array of attendees, including professors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and lead engineers. Despite their diverse backgrounds, all were united by their love for their country of origin and their eagerness to contribute to positive changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event was a resounding success, underscored by the enthusiasm of the guests who were already asking about the next gathering. One of our attendees even traveled all the way from Amsterdam to join us (special shoutout to Erman Doric
Set against the relaxing backdrop of Les Pyramides Sports Club, the evening provided an excellent opportunity to present our two organizations—BHFF and 5mill. Andrej Perkovic, BH Futures Foundation alumni and Edo Sabanagic (Founder of 5MFoBiH) showcased how these platforms can be leveraged to join our cause, fostering collaboration and encouraging professional development. The excitement for arranging internships and joint projects was palpable, demonstrating the potential for future initiatives.
