BHFF Junior Scholars Showcase Innovation at Maker Faire Sarajevo 2026

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Maker Faire Sarajevo 2026—recognized as the largest festival of innovation, creativity, science, and technology—officially opened, bringing together curious minds, creators, and organizations eager to present their ideas and projects.

Representing the Bosnia and Herzegovina Futures Foundation, the Mobile Makerspace team actively participated in the event. The team was led by BHFF Junior Scholars: Tea Tešnjak, Lamija Mehić, and Elma Gusić.

As a Mobile Makerspace team, they naturally aligned with the spirit of Maker Faire, engaging visitors through hands-on demonstrations and interactive discussions. Their goal was to bring STEM fields closer to young people and showcase the possibilities that can be achieved through teamwork, creativity, and dedication.

Through their participation, the team demonstrated how BHFF Scholars contribute to expanding technological literacy, fostering innovation, and sharing knowledge within the community. In addition to presenting their work, they also used the opportunity to connect with other creators, innovators, and organizations, further strengthening collaboration within the local ecosystem.

Their presence at Maker Faire Sarajevo 2026 highlights the ongoing commitment of BHFF Junior Scholars to inspire, educate, and actively shape the future through technology and innovation.
