Ajdin Mehmedović Wins First Place at FIT Coding Challenge v.18
Ajdin Mehmedović, a proud scholar of the BH Futures Foundation, achieved first place in the Game Development category at this year’s FIT Coding Challenge v.18 with his standout project Hunter Mouse 2.
Held annually by the Faculty of Information Technologies, the FIT Coding Challenge gathers the most promising young talents in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For Ajdin, this competition marked a milestone in his personal and professional journey.
“It was a true honor to present my biggest project so far at this year’s FIT Coding Challenge,” said Ajdin. “Hunter Mouse 2 is the most complex game I’ve worked on — a fusion of my music, design, and programming, all in one. This time, that effort was recognized with first place.”
Hunter Mouse 2 is more than just a game — it’s a reflection of Ajdin’s creative vision and technical skill. By blending original music, visual design, and game mechanics, he created a unique, immersive experience that captivated the jury and audience alike.
Ajdin also expressed his gratitude to the organizing team, the jury members, and his peers:
“I’m incredibly thankful to the jury for their trust, to the Faculty of Information Technologies for organizing such a well-rounded competition, and to all participants who proved once again how much talent exists within our youth. Your support is what makes events like this so meaningful.”
As a BH Futures Foundation scholar, Ajdin continues to exemplify the foundation’s mission — to empower young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina to lead, innovate, and inspire. His success at the FIT Coding Challenge is just one of many steps on his journey toward shaping the future of tech and digital creativity in the region.
We look forward to what comes next from this promising young innovator.
