Community Outreach: University of Zenica

Ajna Karić and Jana Jerkić delivered an engaging presentation at the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, speaking out to students about how they can join our community. They talked about many ways BH Futures Foundation empowers young people:

🔹 Fellowship Program
Multi‑year talent accelerator programs (Junior → Senior → Alumni) that incubate leadership, STEM, entrepreneurship, and research skills.

🔹 Makerspaces & Tech Access
Hands‑on Futures Makerspaces across Bosnia & Herzegovina (like the one in Srebrenica) offering workshops, innovation labs, and networking with professionals.

🔹 Outreach & Non‑formal Education
School visits, STEM workshops, Girls in STEM events, Arduino & robotics sessions, and Engineering Weeks reach remote areas and inspire diverse youth.

🔹 Career & Innovation Support
Mentorship programs (including “Making Markets Work” with Market Makers), internship placements, and events like IEEE Innovation Nation and startup bootcamps.

🔹 Networking & Global Mobility
Annual conferences, weekend academies, cultural mobility opportunities, diaspora engagement, and global internships to build a strong professional community.

🔹 Volunteerism & Leadership
Each scholar donates 100+ volunteer hours yearly—mentoring, tutoring, activism and championing social impact.

Ajna and Jana’s message was clear: there’s a place for passionate youth to grow, learn, and lead. Whether you’re a student, young professional, BH Futures Foundation offers paths to join, contribute, and thrive.

Let’s continue shaping Bosnia & Herzegovina’s future—together.
