Ena Hamzić and Lamija Imamović Win First Place at the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Hackathon
We are proud to announce that our scholars, Ena Hamzić (Junior Scholar) and Lamija Imamović (Senior Scholar), together with their team, achieved first place at the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Hackathon in the tourism sector.
During an intensive 48-hour competition, the team demonstrated remarkable creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, developing an innovative solution that impressed both mentors and jury members.
Reflecting on the experience, Lamija shared the following insight:
“I’ve never really been a big fan of hackathons. The idea of cramming too much work into such a short time never appealed to me. I usually prefer structured development, letting ideas ‘sleep over’ and grow step by step.
This one changed my perspective in some way. With the right team, everything is possible and even the process itself becomes pure enjoyment.
Together with my ‘standard crew’ and a few amazing new people who perfectly clicked into our vision, we managed in 48 hours to win 1st place at the FutureMinds Lab Industry Innovation Hackathon in the tourism sector.
It was such a pleasure working with this group, the chemistry was there from the start, and I honestly can’t wait to see where the future takes us.
A big thank you to the organizers, mentors, and jury for creating such an inspiring environment and pushing us to deliver our best.”
We congratulate Ena, Lamija, and their teammates, Iman Veljan, Lamija Imamović, Emina Hurem, Mirza Hadžibegović and Nejra Berberović, on this outstanding accomplishment and commend their dedication to innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
