Get involved

become a leader, get mentored

BH Futures Foundation has partnered with MarketMakers and started one of the largest mentorship programs in the region, “Making Markets Work for the New Generation in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. Project goal is to present the IT/STEM industry to young people through career orientation, training and motivate them to start their career in IT/STEM while offering advice on how to excel in that profession.

Who can apply?

The program is designed for three groups of mentees:

  • Secondary school students (ideally students in their final year);

  • Students (capable of doing an internship);

  • Unemployed and graduates interested in retraining in IT/STEM.

Priority will be given to girls discouraged to join IT/STEM industry and underprivileged youth (rural areas, lack of access to tools needed for work etc.).

How to apply?

We usually have our call for mentees at the begining of the academic/school year. While there is no open call at the moment, you can fill out the expression of interest and we will contact you when a new call opens.

When a new call is open, it will also be posted on our social media pages and our official website.

If you have any questions, please contact mentoring@bhfuturesfoundation.org.
